Doing one job and one job only, sort of

Several of you pledged paid subscriptions to STW, a vote of confidence that made a big difference last year while I was wrestling with the experience of being laid off and exploring the world of self-employment. At the moment, however, I am pausing paid subscriptions because I just haven’t been able to spend the time here to offer sustained value. Any of you that did have paid subscriptions now hold markers for dinner on me next time I see you, and we’ll see how writing here works out with my new gig. But for now I have a lot of new things to dig into and it’s going to keep me very busy and very focused on my day job, with occasional dalliances with the Navy Reserve. Hope this finds you all hale and hearty. Don’t forget to call your members of Congress and remind them that vibrant Sea Services are the foundation of a strong America. BH sends.
